dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to evaluate the perception of the public involvement in the process and practices of solid waste management in Johor Bharu, Johor, Malaysia. A total of 260 respondents in a mixed density residential housing scheme participated in the questionnaires survey. Therefore, several recommendations are put forward to enhance the cooperation of thepublic and municipalities in the solid waste management process and practices.
