Potential ecological and human health risks of heavy metals in surface soils associated with iron ore mining in Pahang, Malaysia

Abstract

The composition of heavy metals (and metalloid) in surface soils of iron ore mine-impacted areas has been evaluated of their potential ecological and human health risks. The mining areas included seven selected locations in the vicinity of active and abandoned iron ore-mining sites in Pahang, Malaysia.
