Abstract
The present Order has been adopted in implementation of the Conservation of the Environment Enactment 1996, which makes provision with a view to ensuring the conservation of natural resources. The prescribed activities defined under the First Schedule cover activities relating to the development of agricultural estates or plantation, forestry (such as timber extraction or felling), fisheries and activities which may pollute inland water or affect sources of water supply.
