Item Open Access Comparison of rainwater quality before and during the MCO using chemometric analyses(Springer, 2023) Nadiana Arifn; Hafzan Juahir; Roslan Umar; Mokhairi Makhtar; Nur Hanis Mohamad Hanapi; Azimah Ismail; Munirah Abdul ZaliThis study aimed to classify the spatiotemporal analysis of rainwater quality before and during the Movement Control Order (MCO) implementation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Chemometric analysis was carried out on rainwater samples collected from 24-gauge stations throughout Malaysia to determine the samples' chemical content, pH, and conductivity.Item Embargo Relationship of rainfall distribution and water level on major flood 2014 in Pahang River basin, Malaysia(Thai Society of Higher Education Institutes on Environment, 2017) Nur Hishaam Sulaiman; Mohd Khairul Amri Kamarudin; Mohd Ekhwan Toriman; Hafizan Juahir; Frankie Marcus Ata; Azman Azid; Noor Jima Abd Wahab; Roslan Umar; Saiful Iskandar Khalit; Mokhairi Makhtar; Amal Arfan; Uca SidengClimate change gives impact on extreme hydrological events especially in extreme rainfall. This article discusses about the relationship of rainfall distribution and water level on major flood 2014 in Pahang River Basin, Malaysia in helping decision makers to flood management system. Based on DID Malaysia rainfall station, 56 stations have being use as point in this research and it is including Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and Perak. Data set for this study were analysed with GIS analysis using interpolation method to develop Isohyet map and XLstat statistical software for PCA and SPC analyses.Item Restricted Spatial assessment and source identification of heavy metals pollution in surface water using several chemometric techniques(Elsevier, 2016) Azimah Ismail; Mohd Ekhwan Toriman; Hafizan Juahir; Sharifuddin Md Zain; Nur Liyana Abdul Habir; Ananthy Retnam; Mohd Khairul Amri Kamaruddin; Roslan Umar; Azman AzidThis study presents the determination of the spatial variation and source identification of heavy metal pollution in surface water along the Straits of Malacca using several chemometric techniques. Clustering and discrimination of heavy metal compounds insurface water into two groups (northern and southern regions) are observed according to level of concentrations via the application of chemometric techniques.
